Mirage Quattro is a full face CPAP mask with a forehead-support design that is a predecessor to today’s popular AirFit series.

Product Features:

  • Forehead support has four adjustment positions to optimize seal, relieve pressure on the bridge of the nose and provide patient comfort.
  • New flexible forehead pads conform to the contour of the patient’s forehead to enhance stability and comfort.
  • Proven Mirage cushion technology provides an excellent seal without tight headgear so patients don’t have to face pressure sores and discomfort.
  • New Set & Forget headgear needs fitting only once so patients don’t need to adjust headgear every time they put their mask on.
  • New top and bottom headgear clips make putting the mask on and taking it off fast and easy so patients are more compliant.
  • Superior airflow and built-in air vents provide excellent carbon dioxide release to ensure effective therapy, even at low pressures.

Around 40% of CPAP users and almost all BiPAP users lose treatment pressure through their mouths, either by mouth breathing or mouth leakage. This uniquely designed CPAP full face mask ensure comfort and stability while maintaining a proper seal. The ResMed Ultra Mirage Full Face CPAP mask remains one of the most popular full faced masks on the market today. This CPAP full face mask is easy to maintain with replacement parts readily available. Use this mask for both CPAP and BiPAP therapy and with pressures up to 30 cmH2O.

Fitting Guide:

  1. Move the forehead support tab to Position 4. Position 4 is the uppermost tab position.
  2. Disconnect one lower headgear clip. Place the mask on the face and pull the headgear over your head. Ensure that the upper straps pass across your forehead and the lower straps below your ears.
  3. Reattach the headgear clip to the mask frame.
  4. Gently tighten the upper headgear straps.
  5. Gently tighten the lower headgear straps.
  6. The pads of the forehead support should lightly touch your forehead when the mask is in place. If the pads do not touch your forehead, you may need to change the position of the forehead support tab as described in step 8.
  7. Connect the main air tubing to the swivel. Then connect the free end of the air tubing to your flow generator and turn the flow generator on. If you feel air leaks around the cushion, you may need to gently tighten the headgear straps. Note: Do not over-tighten the headgear straps as this may cause discomfort, cushion creases, and mask leak.
  8. If you are unable to get a proper seal through gently tightening the headgear, you will need to change the position of the forehead support tab.Loosen the headgear straps and move the forehead support tab to the next position (e.g., from Position 4 move it downwards to Position 3). Gently tighten the upper headgear straps and then the lower headgear straps.Take time to test all four positions of the forehead support tab and to adjust the headgear straps so that you can achieve a secure and comfortable fit.
